These random odd thoughts comprise of words that no one would ever search for.

Social media has also grown smarter as so many people misuse hashtags. They can now identify useful hashtags from spammy ones and can filter them out.

Businesses can leverage their social media presence with effective use of hashtags, which is a great way to reach target audiences. Everywhere on the World Wide Web searches take place. All search engines are now smart enough to understand hashtags and can deliver appropriate results based on the input query. Thus, it is evident that hashtags can indirectly influence your Search Engine Optimization strategies.

The concept hashtag campaigns are based on is simple. The more people use a particular hashtag the more will be the amount traction it gains and the higher it gets ranked in search results.

So, make sure when you use a hashtag, it remains relevant and meaningful for that post. If you use too many complex words in your hashtags then it may risk losing coherence and may turn it into spam. A spammy hashtag or a bashtag as they are called, can be counterproductive to your social media efforts.
